[DEADLINE] Amicus Essay Competition
Submissions are now open for the KCL Amicus' 1,500 words essay competition. The winner will receive a two week, physical or virtual, work placement at Amicus ALJ's London office. The runner up will have their essay published in Amicus ALJ's newsletter.

About the Event
The Amicus Chapter at King's College London is a project run by KCL Pro Bono Society in collaboration with Amicus. Submissions are now open for the KCL Amicus' 1,500 words essay competition.
The winner will receive a two week, physical or virtual, work placement at Amicus ALJ's London office. The runner up will have their essay published in Amicus ALJ's newsletter.
The essay title is 'The death penalty has been described as an instrument to enforce racial hierarchies throughout the United States historically, beginning with the colonial period. How true is this description in the present day?'.
Submissions close on 9 November 2020.
